As I was checking my post on UK Parking below, I noticed this article in the news feed to the right. University students at a small school are poaching parking in the local community. Easy fix, but do they have the political courage to do it.
Put in pay for parking around the school — give the residents permits if you like. Put the money generated back into the local area. Make sure you charge more than the $150 a year it costs to park on campus. Something like $2 a day would do the trick.
The solution that is currently in place — be patient.
