OK — The hospital was concerned that their patients and employees needed some relief from parking tickets in an area around the hospital. What happened — well people are parking all over the place, blocking driveways, fire plugs, and generally making a mess of the area. Read about it here.
Inconsistent application of the law is anathema to parking policy. If you aren’t going to enforce the law, get it off the books.
The referenced letter to the editor is right. Poor enforcement means a really bad problem on the streets
