I was at the local farmer’s market the other day and a fellow who was running for a local state assembly seat came up to me and began stating his position on Iraq. Which side he took isn’t important, but the fact that he though that it would sway my vote was.
Just what was a California Assemblyperson going to do about Iraq. We have lots of problems in California. None of which have anything to do with Iraq. He didn’t seem to want to discuss water, the environment, taxes, education, infrastructure, or the pot holes in front of my house. He was more concerned about Iraq.
