Unity5 Group Appoints Parking Expert Nicolina Cooper as Managing Director of Public Sector

Following its expansion to become the UK’s largest provider of parking and enforcement software, Unity5 Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Nicolina Cooper as Managing Director for the Public Sector.

Nicolina joins Unity5 as a full-time member of the senior leadership team, bringing over two decades of leadership experience within some of London’s most complex Local Authorities. Her career includes roles such as Head of Service and Assistant Director for Public Realm. Notably, during her career, she has specialised in digital and cultural transformation in the transport sector, specialising in parking and delivering millions of pounds worth of savings to local government in her 30 years in Local government.

This appointment is a cornerstone of Unity5’s strategy, ensuring that the Group’s vast Local Authority base, significantly expanded following the 2025 acquisition of Chipside, receives dedicated, expert advocacy and industry-leading product innovation.
