Amano McGann, a member of the Amano Group and a provider of parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS) and valet solutions, announced the promotion of Greg Brewer to president and chief executive officer, effective July 1. Brewer succeeds Steve DiMarco, who will transition to an advisory role and remain with the company through the end of 2025 to support the transition before retiring. Brewer has served as senior vice president leading the company’s sales and operations teams since joining Amano McGann in 2017, bringing 23 years of industry experience. During DiMarco’s tenure since 2020, he led the organization through the COVID-19 pandemic disruptions, spearheaded a business restructuring, and oversaw the development and launch of the Amano ONE PARCS solution. 

Metropolis Technologies, Inc., the parking technology and operations company, announced the appointment of Lookman Olusanya as its new chief financial officer (CFO). Olusanya spent his early-career years at Dell Technologies and American Airlines. He then held senior finance roles at Amazon Web Service and Google Cloud. Most recently, he served as CFO at the payments platform Square.

ABM, a provider of facility, engineering, and infrastructure solutions, announced it has been awarded a 10-year contract valued at approximately $300 million by the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority (GOAA) to provide parking and employee shuttle services at Orlando International Airport (MCO). ABM will oversee the procurement, maintenance, and operation of a new fleet of 61 modern transit buses for both parking and employee shuttle operations. The shuttle program will be enabled by ABM Vantage, the company’s mobility intelligence platform that delivers real-time data and analytics to improve fleet visibility, operational efficiency, and rider experience. For the first time in MCO’s history, the responsibility for capital investment and fleet maintenance will be fully managed by the contractor.

The parking operator LAZ Parking announced it has completed an acquisition giving it a 60% majority stake in the parking, mobility, and electric vehicle (EV) operator INDIGO Park Canada Inc. (IPC), creating what it describes as North America’s largest tech-driven parking, transportation, and mobility company. The acquisition reunites LAZ with the INDIGO Group, building on their successful partnership from 2007 to 2021. Since 2021, the companies have collaborated on technology platforms including business intelligence tools, e-commerce, and computer-vision-based artificial intelligence (AI) tools. With the acquisition, LAZ manages more than 5,300 locations and employs more than 20,000 people across more than 2 million parking spaces. IPC will preserve its identity and continue operating under the leadership of CEO John Laires and his team.

Duncan Solutions, a transportation management company, announced the Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) has selected Duncan to oversee and operate the authority’s parking violation management system and customer support services. The award was ratified at the PPA’s Regular Board Meeting on May 20, 2025, expanding Duncan’s mandate from its initial 2019 contract. Duncan will provide the back-end violation management system using its proprietary AP+ platform. The comprehensive solution includes strategic partnerships with Park Loyalty, which will provide the officer enforcement application, parking asset management tools, kiosk management, and back-end enforcement portal with geographic mapping and analytics; UR International (URI), which brings smart immobilization, towing, and auction solutions; and PRWT Services, which will handle motorist customer experience and back-office support including call center operations, lockbox services, data entry, and integrated voice response management.

Get My Parking (GMP), a provider of smart parking software and integrated mobility solutions powered by AI, announced three key appointments to its North America team. Joe Mollish has been named vice president of customer success, Bric Fraser has been appointed director of customer success, and Taylor Hahn has been appointed vertical discovery and demand manager, a new role focused on early-stage market development and strategic qualification of demand across new and established verticals.

Parking technology provider ParkSwift North America announced the launch of a customized digital permitting platform for the Town of Vail, Colorado. Features include discounted parking for residents, guaranteed free parking in municipal facilities with reserved spaces, and employee parking plans for local businesses. The white-labeled platform integrates with Vail’s municipal branding and provides utilization data to municipal parking managers. Users register online, upload required documentation such as proof of residency for eligibility verification, and enter payment details to purchase permits and manage parking sessions.

Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) announced it has selected TKH Security’s Park Assist Solution, an automated parking guidance system, for installation in its new 8-floor, 4,688-space garage as part of the airport’s Park PHL initiative. The system features the M5 smart sensor, a camera-based sensor that monitors each parking bay using dual complementary metal-oxide-semiconductor digital cameras and high-definition streaming video to provide real-time surveillance and situational awareness. 

ParkHelp, a provider of smart parking solutions, announced it has been awarded a contract to upgrade the parking guidance system at the Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 garages at the Barcelona Airport in Barcelona, Spain. Covering 13,092 parking spaces, the project represents a renewal of ParkHelp’s relationship with the airport, which began in 2009 with the installation of the original U1 ultrasonic system that has remained operational for over 15 years. The new deployment combines ultrasonic 2 sensors for 8,362 spaces and C2 camera-based units with license plate recognition (LPR) for 4,730 spaces. ParkHelp’s solution integrates with the airport’s PARCS, enabling users to locate their vehicle from pay stations with displays showing the car’s location, a photo of the vehicle, and a map with the exact parking space location.

Fine Airport Parking, a provider of off-airport parking services, announced it has selected Zevtron, an EV charging technology provider, to deliver EV charging at its two facilities serving George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston. Zevtron will install 16 chargers supporting 32 EV charging ports across both garages as part of the initial deployment. Each charger will be powered by Zevtron’s white-labeled operating system, giving Fine Airport Parking control over charger usage and monetization capabilities. The platform is hardware agnostic and can manage existing chargers as well as new Zevtron units. Zevtron’s low-power charging system enables multiple vehicles to be charged from a single 40-amp electrical feed, enabling Fine Airport Parking to use existing electrical infrastructure without additional utility upgrades. Following the IAH deployment, Fine Airport Parking plans to implement Zevtron solutions at its Hobby Airport location in Houston and facilities serving Denver International Airport and Tulsa International Airport.

EnSight Technologies, a parking technology company, announced it has been selected to implement an AI-based parking guidance and occupancy management system at Salt Lake City’s largest mixed-use development, featuring upscale retail, residential, and office spaces. The system will use 81 EnSight Vision cameras to monitor parking occupancy in the development’s East and West Garages, each offering four levels of underground parking spanning a full city block. The cameras will transmit occupancy data to five exterior and five entry-level signs, plus 48 interior wayfinding signs informing drivers of available parking spaces on each floor and zone. All signs feature edge-to-edge LED variable message boards with full content customization and high-resolution displays. The system includes LPR technology to inventory vehicles, monitor parking durations, and identify vehicles that exit and reenter garages to misuse the center’s two-hour grace period. Installation is expected to be completed in fall 2025.

PayByPhone, a provider of mobile parking payment services, announced the City of South Miami, Florida, has joined its Meters for Trees initiative, which replaces parking meters with tree planting. The city has removed approximately 700 parking meters under the program, resulting in 39 trees planted in Withlacoochee State Forest through PayByPhone’s partner veritree, an organization that connects businesses with verified tree planting projects. PayByPhone will also contribute $500 toward local tree planting efforts.

Hayden AI, a provider of automated transit enforcement technology, announced that the California cities of Santa Monica and West Hollywood will deploy its bus-mounted camera platform to address illegally parked vehicles obstructing bus lanes and bus stops. The cities join the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority and Culver City, California, in using Hayden AI’s solution. The enforcement begins with a 60-day warning period for Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus and Los Angeles Metro buses serving Line 212 in West Hollywood, with full enforcement starting September 1, 2025. For Santa Monica’s Big Blue Bus, the rollout follows a successful 2023 pilot program that recorded 7.7 violations per bus per day, totaling 606 violations over 45 days. 

The engineering firm Walter P Moore announced the establishment of its presence in Seattle, Washington, to better serve the Pacific Northwest’s building and infrastructure markets. The Seattle office will be led by Vlad Ivanov, managing director of diagnostics, who brings expertise in condition appraisals, façade evaluations, forensic investigations, and assessment of corrosion-related deterioration. The firm’s Structures Group also has team members Pete Range and Scott Kinney in the region to support future growth plans for structural engineering services.
