Flint Bishop Airport (FNT), in Flint, Michigan, announced a partnership with Metropolis, an artificial intelligence (AI) company providing computer-vision platform technology for checkout-free payment experiences, to deploy AI parking technology at all FNT parking facilities. The system launched October 1, 2025, offering seamless drive-in, drive-out parking through the Metropolis app, eliminating tickets, paper slips, and waiting in lines. Users can register vehicles and payment methods through the app to receive instant notifications upon entry and exit, transparent pricing and payment history, and digital validations and discounts at participating local businesses. FNT is the first airport in Michigan and the fifth airport nationally to install Metropolis’ drive-in, drive-out parking technology following its debut at San Antonio International Airport.

PayByPhone, a provider of mobile parking payment services, announced a strategic global partnership with SKIDATA — a provider of access and revenue management solutions and part of the access solutions company ASSA ABLOY Group — to join SKIDATA Connect, a platform for managing customer experiences in the parking, mobility, sports, and entertainment industries. The partnership enables PayByPhone users to access hundreds of off-street gated garages across Canada, France, Germany, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States through SKIDATA’s network. The service will first launch in Miami, Florida, then expand to other locations during the coming months. PayByPhone users can access participating garages through AutoPay, which enables entry and exit without taking tickets, visiting pay stations, or opening the app after opting in, or Pay on Exit, which enables drivers to pay via the app before exiting.

SKIDATA also announced it has acquired ePARK, a Sweden-based provider of app-based smart parking services. The transaction took effect on September 1, 2025. ePARK offers a platform for digital short-term parking, digital permits, and value-added services used by more than 200 municipalities and private operators, processing more than 6.7 million transactions per year and serving over 2 million users. ePARK will continue to operate as a separate business unit within SKIDATA, with the brand, platform, and leadership remaining unchanged.

PayByPhone also announced the appointment of Otavio Ferreira as chief technology officer (CTO) effective October 1, 2025. Ferreira joins the PayByPhone Management Board and will report to John Gallagher, chief information officer for International Vehicle Payments (IVP) at Corpay, PayByPhone’s parent company. Ferreira has served as senior director of engineering at PayByPhone since November 2024 and brings extensive global experience in payment infrastructure, having previously served as CTO for e-commerce operations in Brazil and held senior leadership roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) in Canada, where he led application integration and storage business units. Ferreira replaces Jean-Pierre LeBlanc, who becomes vice president of product. LeBlanc served as CTO since June 2024 and led a major transformation of PayByPhone’s technology organization, including the complete rebuild and relaunch of the PayByPhone app in August 2024.

Towne Park, a provider of tech-enabled arrival-through-departure solutions, announced it has acquired Frogparking, a provider of integrated parking systems. The acquisition combines Towne Park’s operational expertise and revenue optimization solutions with Frogparking’s cloud-based technology platform. Frogparking, founded in 2009 by Don and Shareena Sandbrook, operates under Shareena Sandbrook’s leadership as CEO and has expanded into the U.S. market. The company’s flagship cloud-based platform, FrogOne, centralizes parking data and uses real-time analytics, advanced sensors, and AI for parking management. Frogparking holds a portfolio of more than 30 patent technologies and serves cities, airports, universities, shopping centers, medical facilities, corporate campuses, and private operators across North America, New Zealand, and Australia. Shareena Sandbrook will continue to lead Frogparking following the acquisition.

IPS Group Inc., a provider of smart parking solutions, announced the launch of the MSX Multi-Space Parking Kiosk, a parking payment solution featuring contactless payments, rapid deployment, and a customizable interface. The kiosk supports multiple payment options including tap-to-pay, TEXT-TO-PAY, the PARK SMARTER app, and third-party integrations. MSX features a touchscreen that supports multiple languages and custom branding, with an ADA-compliant design and flexible placement options including pole, pedestal, or wall mount. A West Coast private operator reported kiosk transactions tripled within three months of deploying MSX, with zero downtime and improved customer experience, according to IPS Group.

FAAC Parking Solutions, the parking business unit of FAAC Technologies, an access and parking technology company, announced the appointment of Graham Haldeman as CEO and general manager of HUB Parking Technology for the United States and Canada. HUB Parking Technology provides parking access and revenue control systems (PARCS), digital solutions, and mobility services to airports, universities, municipalities, healthcare facilities, and commercial operators across North America. Haldeman brings nearly two decades of experience in the parking and mobility industry, with a background spanning IT, hospitality, operations management, and senior leadership. He most recently served as vice president of regional sales at parking technology provider Scheidt & Bachmann USA.

Parking Management Company (PMC), a hospitality and commercial parking services provider, announced it has acquired Clutch!, a technology-driven parking operator serving arenas, stadiums, and major event venues. The transaction closed September 1, 2025. Clutch! brings 15 major arena and stadium clients into PMC’s portfolio, strengthening PMC’s Stadium Event division and expanding its national reach in collegiate and professional sports. The acquisition integrates Clutch!’s technology-driven reservation platform with PMC’s operational expertise to offer partners advance reservations, ticketing integrations, point-of-sale technology, real-time reporting, and on-the-ground event support.

Zevtron, a provider of electric vehicle (EV) charging solutions, announced a strategic partnership with SpotGenius, a provider of camera-based parking and space monitoring technologies, to integrate SpotGenius’ Vision AI Technology into Zevtron’s EV charging platform for real-time monitoring of EV charging spaces. The system validates license plate numbers through the Zevtron platform, detects and prevents misuse of EV charging stalls by identifying gas-powered vehicles in EV spaces, monitors charging session compliance to determine when EVs remain parked after completing charges, and provides real-time notifications to charger owners, property managers, or enforcement personnel when violations occur. The technology records detailed data on infractions including time- and date-stamped evidence to support enforcement and trend analysis.

ParkEngage, a provider of AI-managed parking solutions, announced the launch of TruStart, a platform designed to capture parking sessions using license plate recognition and AI-driven validation. TruStart automatically tracks every parking session from vehicle entry to exit, ensuring all sessions are captured and paid in real time. The system offers automatic session capture with instant vehicle recognition, multiple payment options including tap-to-pay and text-to-pay, and receipt validation capabilities. The platform is designed for hospitality, mixed-use developments, universities, airports, and municipalities.

Rezcomm, a provider of modular ecommerce solutions for parking, travel, and public infrastructure, announced it has been awarded a national cooperative procurement contract by the League of Oregon Cities, enabling public agencies to purchase Rezcomm’s platform through NPPGov, a cooperative purchasing network. The contract provides pre-approved access to Rezcomm’s ecommerce, customer relationship management (CRM), and analytics tools for eligible organizations across all 50 U.S. states without requiring formal requests for proposals. The platform includes online booking for parking, lounges, fast track services, EV charging, and events; dynamic pricing and yield tools; CRM and marketing automation; operational automation with predictive AI; and compliance features hosted on Amazon Web Services.

Propark Mobility, a parking management company, announced Vladimir Bobarykin has joined as director of business development, leading client acquisition and relationship-building efforts across North and South Carolina. The company also announced Eric DeMunda has joined as regional vice president of business development, leading client engagement and partnership efforts throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Get My Parking (GMP), a provider of smart parking solutions, announced the appointment of Wade Brossow as vice president of strategic partnerships and value-added reseller (VAR) expansion for North America. Brossow brings more than 30 years of experience in PARCS and access control systems, having led field operations, sales, partner development, and executive leadership across parking, skiing, and stadium markets.

Parking Guidance Systems (PGS), a provider of parking technologies, announced a strategic merger with INDECT Electronics & Distribution GmbH (INDECT), a manufacturer of parking guidance solutions, and ParkZen, a parking intelligence software development company. PGS serves as the lead company in the merger, expanding beyond its U.S. base to deliver parking solutions internationally. INDECT’s parking sensor technology includes Ultrasonic Mini Sensors for single-space detection and Upsolut camera sensors that combine multi-space monitoring, video stream capture, and license plate recognition. Since its founding 12 years ago, PGS has been INDECT’s largest channel partner in the United States. ParkZen’s smartphone app uses crowdsourcing and proprietary algorithms to deliver real-time parking data and intelligence, with features including payment processing and permission management tools for owners and permit holders.
