Parking Today Media is excited to unveil the Parking Today Podcast Network, a groundbreaking initiative bringing together the leading independent podcasts dedicated to the parking industry. This is a key moment — the creation of a unified network that celebrates the diversity, expertise, and creativity of those who live and breathe parking every day.
The Parking Today Podcast Network features four distinctive podcasts, each offering its own fresh perspective on the industry. Whether you're a seasoned parking professional, a curious newcomer, or simply someone eager to stay informed about the evolving world of mobility, this network promises engaging, informative, and entertaining content.
“This initiative reflects Parking Today Media’s ongoing commitment to championing the parking industry and providing new ways to share knowledge and build connections,” said Kevin Uhlenhaker, the chief executive officer and publisher of Parking Today Media. “Podcasts are a vital part of how people learn and engage today, and we’re proud to support these talented creators as they inform and inspire our community.”
Isaiah Mouw: Innovating Industry Conversations on The Parking Podcast
Isaiah Mouw, CAPP, has been a mainstay in the parking industry since the day after he graduated from college. “All I know is parking, and I’m going into my 18th year,” Mouw said. “I have loved every minute of it.” That passion for parking, combined with his love of lifelong learning, inspired Mouw to launch The Parking Podcast in 2019.
As the first U.S. podcast dedicated to the parking industry, The Parking Podcast was born from Mouw’s desire to create a new resource for parking professionals. Reflecting on his early days in the field, he said, “I remember early in my career being excited each month for the next Parking Today magazine to arrive so I could read every article and hope to learn something new. I always did. I figured The Parking Podcast could be another great free resource for parking professionals to hopefully learn something new every other week and share stories about the people that make parking go.”
The All Things Parking Podcast: A Dynamic Duo in Dani and John
The All Things Parking podcast, hosted by Dani Crain and John D. Conway, dives into parking industry trends, challenges, and innovations with a unique blend of experience and passion. Crain, with her background in parking technology and operations, brings a fresh perspective, while Conway leverages decades of expertise in transportation and compliance to deliver practical insights.
With a background in consulting, Crain ran her own business in Denver for 4 years before moving into the parking and mobility sector. She has been in parking for nearly 7 years, and her expertise is in parking operations with an emphasis on parking technology.
A founding member of Parking Revenue Recovery Services (PRRS), Conway is the chief business development officer and executive vice president at PRRS. With nearly 30 years of experience in parking operations, Conway has held various senior leadership positions across a broad range of sectors, including municipal, commercial, university, hospital, residential, and large venues, giving him a comprehensive understanding of diverse transportation and operational needs.
Crain and Conway’s chemistry and shared enthusiasm create an engaging space for exploring topics like parking safety, leadership evolution, and cutting-edge technology. First aired in 2023, the show balances insider knowledge with approachable storytelling, appealing to professionals and newcomers alike. “It offers a combination of entertainment and educational content that hopefully inspires people,” Conway said.
Tobias Marx: Exploring Joy in Parking on Parking Happiness
Tobias Marx brings a refreshing and heartfelt perspective to the parking industry through his podcast, Parking Happiness. Since launching the show, Marx has made it his mission to explore the often-overlooked concept of happiness in parking, offering listeners a mix of insightful tips, entertaining stories, and unscripted conversations with industry professionals.
Marx’s journey in the parking world began in Lowell, Massachusetts, where he transitioned from a role in the city’s Cultural Affairs and Special Events Office to its Parking Department. “I have been in the parking industry for 7ish years and am loving it more each day,” Marx said. His passion for parking grew even stronger after relocating to Bend, Oregon, where he continued to advance his career.
The idea for Parking Happiness was sparked after a lively panel discussion at the Pacific Intermountain Parking and Transporation Association’s 2022 Conference & Expo. “It was a lot of fun,” Marx said. “Afterwards we all chatted and joked that we should start a podcast to continue the conversation.” A year later, he began inviting guests to join him for interviews, and the overwhelmingly positive responses pushed him to take the leap.
Above all, Marx hopes to shine a light on education in the parking sector, advocating for greater awareness of the industry’s career opportunities, especially among younger generations.
Robert Wilson: Bridging the Gap Between Commuters and Industry Experts with Put It in Park
Robert Wilson launched his podcast, Put It in Park, in December 2024, bringing a fresh and dynamic voice to the parking industry. As the founder of Parking Pin, Inc., a company dedicated to revolutionizing campus parking through innovative technology, Wilson’s journey into parking was inspired by his own frustrations as a college student. “One day, after parking off-campus, I ended up being 20 minutes late to an engineering quiz and was locked out of class,” he said. “That moment made it clear to me that a solution was desperately needed.”
With Put It in Park, Wilson aims to address the daily challenges commuters face, using humor, real-life stories, and expert insights to create an engaging listening experience. The podcast’s unique segments — such as “Parking War,” which highlights daily parking struggles, “Ask Pinny,” offering fun solutions to common questions, and “Parkbusters,” featuring on-the-street interviews — set it apart from traditional industry-focused shows. “Our deep-dive interviews in ‘Parked Car Conversations’ bring expert insights in a casual, relatable format,” Wilson said.
A Unified Voice at the 2025 Parking Industry Expo
