Parking industry veteran Tim Maloney has joined the parking reservation platform Reservations Lab, Parking Today has learned.
Through its parking reservation system, Reservations Lab helps operators convert underutilized parking spaces into revenue sources by connecting inventory to demand channels and offering intelligent dynamic pricing tools. The company has brought on Maloney to be its chief revenue and partnerships officer and a member of its Board of Directors.
In his new role, Maloney will oversee operator-facing teams, demand channel partnerships, B2B marketing, and customer service. He also “will play a key role in Reservations Lab’s current fundraising efforts, supporting growth initiatives and preparing for the launch of transient and monthly parking offerings in urban markets in Q1 2026,” according to a statement from the company.
“Joining Reservations Lab is an exciting opportunity to grow the company, work alongside amazing partners and colleagues, and continue leading the parking industry into the next phase of technology,” Maloney said in the statement. “Our goal is to empower operators to not only fill more spaces and increase revenue but also allow them to leverage technology to their advantage and shape the products we build together.”
Maloney brings to his new role extensive industry experience that includes 18 years of commercial parking operations as well as executive roles at the parking reservation app SpotHero, parking and electric vehicle charging technology provider Flash, parking management company Propark Mobility, and payments solutions provider HONK. Since 2023, Maloney has provided strategic guidance to parking operators and technology companies through his advisory firm Tim Maloney Advisory.
“Tim has been at the forefront of major shifts in the parking and mobility industry,” said Wissam Batran, the CEO and co-founder of Reservations Lab. “His ability to forge powerful partnerships and unlock new opportunities is unmatched. Bringing him on board full-time is a huge step forward for Reservations Lab as we continue to build a more dynamic and connected travel experience.”
