The parking technology platform JustPark has acquired Oobeo, a provider of contactless parking management software and a subsidiary of Toledo Ticket Technologies, Parking Today has learned. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
“The acquisition represents a key milestone in JustPark’s North American growth strategy and paves way for more innovative products that work seamlessly across the fragmented mobility ecosystem spanning commercial operators, municipalities, venues, as well as public and private institutions,” JustPark said in a statement.
“As cities grow and evolve, so will the demand for everyday parking products that are fit for the smartphone generation,” said Charley DeBow, the managing director of North America for JustPark. “Oobeo has all the right ingredients and talent to help us continue innovating our product suite.”
As part of the acquisition, Oobeo’s CEO Mitch Carter joins JustPark as general manager-commercial solutions. “We have known Mitch for several years and have consistently been impressed by his work ethic and exceptional leadership,” DeBow said. “We’re excited to join forces and bring faster, smarter parking to even more destinations across North America.”

“Just like our team at Oobeo, JustPark has built a thriving business by removing universal pain points in parking and empowering venues to deliver profitable, best-in-class visitor experiences,” Carter said. “With a shared mission and a joint approach, there is a lot more we can achieve in bringing the parking industry to the forefront of innovation and helping it stay ahead of evolving commercial and operational challenges.”
Founded in London in 2006, JustPark connects parkers and parking space owners via its website and app. Today, the company facilitates more than $1 billion in booking volume for more than 550 U.S. customers, parking more than 40 million cars annually, according to the company. In the UK, more than 14 million drivers use the JustPark app to reserve parking.
Oobeo offers an “integrated suite of contactless parking software for mobile payments, permits, valet and attendant managed locations,” according to the company’s website. Its solutions address needs related to attendant payments, digital valet, indoor wayfinding, mobile parking payments, monthly permits, and shuttle request software.
